Our Clients

How It Works

1

Start with Free Skills Assessments and determine your eligibility for RPL. When it is completed, you’ll have a brief discussion with an RPL / TRAINER AND ASSESSOR

2

After you identify the qualifications you’re eligible for, it’s time to get started! You’ll receive an email with what evidence you will need and we will work with you to find your supporting documents

3

We’ll take care of the hard work and will organise and compile your evidence so that it’s aligned with the units of the qualification you’re after. This helps you to successfully achieve your qualification from one of our RTO partners.

4

It’s time for the good news! You will receive an email and phone call from a Pacific Certified RPL specialist. You’re then issued with a Nationally Recognised Qualification from one of our RTO partners. Congratulations!

Frequently Asked Questions

RPL stands for Recognition of Prior Learning. As the name suggests, we can provide you with a nationally recognised qualification simply by assessing your prior work experience. There is no classroom study and which means you can focus on your family and the real priorities in your life. Recognition of Prior Learning assesses what you already know and checking if it matches the qualification you want to obtain.

Once you have successfully provided your evidence in a timely manner and the RPL Assessment has been completed, your application will be lodged with the RTO for processing. The time period for having the qualification issued by the RTO – provided that no further evidence is needed to meet requirements – is generally 2 – 4 weeks. Please note that the overall completion time is affected by the length of time it takes you to compile your evidence.

All Pacific Certified RPL qualifications and RPL certifications are nationally recognised across Australia. That means no matter which state you travel to, you can enjoy the increased earning potential and career benefits from your RPL qualification.

  • Career progression
  • Increased earning potential
  • Support the your employment and educational journey

To receive your RPL qualification/RPL certification, we use your past experience and knowledge to prove your eligibility. There are three main areas that are considered during the process. These are:

1) Existing work experience. The practical work experience you have gained to date may have provided you with solid skills and knowledge that are of relevance to a course of study. Work experience may be informal, formal, full time, part time, voluntary, or paid.

2) Existing qualifications. You may have completed educational courses that have provided you with knowledge and understanding that is of relevance to the course of study. For example, if you have another TAFE course or unit, this may count as credit toward a different qualification.

3) Life skills and experience. Your general life experiences and the skills you have developed over time may also count toward the RPL qualification you wish to complete.

RTO means Registered Training Organisation. An RTO is required to conform to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 which is administered by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). This ensures that the standard of training and assessment provided by RTOs meets the expected vocational benchmarks.
